McNAMARA MARKETING is seeking a rock-star part-time Lead Marketer ( Consultant / Freelancer ) who specializes in digital marketing for success. Should be a phenomenal communicator, agile implementor, crafts fresh, fun, original strategies, and ideas and have a great personality! We should have a complimentary marketing skillset. Opportunity for full-time for the right candidate.

Our innovation marketing startup is looking for a modern-day marketer who thrives in a small business environment. Candidate should be eager to learn, punctual, responsible, loyal and dependable. Creative, self-starter who is comfortable with working alone and in groups able to meet deadlines, highly organized. Ability to learn new products, services, and industries without hesitation and craft strategies to help our clients succeed with enthusiasm and excitement! The perfect candidate will go the extra mile, be comfortable in a startup setting, want to grow!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the Senior Lead Marketer to create and implement marketing campaigns for a variety of clients
Develop strategies and marketing outlets on a weekly and monthly basis for company brands
Monitor analytics, reporting and project status
Create engaging content, communications, email marketing, and social media
Assist in the general distribution of information, communication, etc
Provide support to our marketing team at live and online events
Call on clients, prospects and new business opportunities

What you need to do

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Pursuing or received an associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Communications or related field
2 + years’ experience in marketing, digital, social and/or communications
Excellent oral and written communication skills
In-depth digital marketing knowledge:
Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and Google+
Ability to curate content, drive organic engagement, execute paid advertising campaigns, optimize and update pages, manage social media accounts.
Basic knowledge of Hootsuite, Buffer and other social media management platforms a plus.
Search Engine Optimization: Keyword Research, optimization, SEO audit, understanding of what encompasses both the technical and creative elements required to improve rankings, drive traffic, and increase awareness of search engines.
Google Analytics & Social Media Insight
Email Marketing: Constant Contact and MailChimp experience a must! Knowledge of email database compliance, A/B split testing, copywriting, graphics, and compelling campaign execution
Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe and/or Canva
Paid Advertising: Knowledge of Google Ads, Social Media Advertising, affiliate marketing, retargeting
Basic website knowledge optimizing web pages, WordPress, HTML, and landing pages. Bonus if you know Squarespace and Wix
