SCOUT DIGITAL is a strategy-driven social and digital agency. We specialize in building fashion, retail, luxury and lifestyle brands online. If you thrive on being hyper organized and love the creative process with a passion for photography and addicted to social media this is the job for you! We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented assistant to help our Creative Team curate photos for multiple brands and manage the processes for our photo and video projects. This is a part-time, ongoing freelance role. You’ll work onsite 5 days/week in our offices in Greenwich Village, NY. Hourly rate is $25/hr.

This will be freelance through the end of 2019 with an opportunity for a full-time salaried role beginning in January 2020.

What you need to do

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

– PRODUCTION LOGISTICS

• Place, track and record product sample orders from clients for production needs
• Research, scout, and log information about locations, talent and production crews
• Organize and archive in-house prop inventory
• Liaise between location, rental houses, and client, and/or crew to organize and coordinate contracts and credential needs, and ensure smooth on-site production schedule

– CONTENT CURATION AND PHOTO EDITING

• Help execute content strategies by shooting and curating visual assets
• Curate bi-weekly content calendars for clients using a mix of social assets, brand assets, user-generated content
• Align with social media managers to assess best-performing content, days/times for posts, product, and promo timing for planning calendars
• Compile brainstorm notes and work with Creative Lead to develop calendar visuals and cadence
• Implement client feedback and edits as needed
• Shoot original content for social posts if applicable
• Work with Creative Lead on post-production needs like providing detailed retouching notes for shoot photography
• Help develop creative briefs for freelance content creators and traffic assets and invoices from vendors as needed

– CONTENT MANAGEMENT

• Oversee agency asset archives including organizing images and videos in an easily accessible, easily understandable way for each client
• Maintain our digital asset management system as it relates to content inventory using Dropbox, Airtable, and Google Docs
• Updating the content calendar and schedule posts

– EXPERIENCE + SKILLS:
• Detail-oriented and highly-organized
• Prior PA experience on fashion/beauty/lifestyle sets
• Familiarity with Keynote and Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Lightroom/CaptureOne
• Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
• Understanding and passion for trends in fashion, style pop culture, and social media
• Experience multitasking multiple projects in a high-paced, collaborative environment
• Creative eye for photography
• Experience in photo retouching a plus
• Photography experience a plus
